Curriculum Night Power Point
Important Information
The communication between both parents and teachers is extremely important, and something that we highly value. All papers that will be sent home will be put in your child’s red Everett folder. This folder needs to be gone through nightly and returned to school the next day. This is also an excellent place for you to place any notes or information that needs to be brought to school. Your child will be responsible for emptying this every morning at school.
This year, we will have a very busy schedule. The students do have wellness everyday and will need gym shoes to participate. If you would like to leave a pair of shoes at school you may, or you may send them on a daily basis.
The children are very excited about eating lunch at school. Please keep a copy of the school lunch menu at home to help plan accordingly. You can access this off the district website. It is very helpful for the children to know what they will order from the cafeteria prior to coming to school. If you have any questions regarding your child’s lunch account please contact the office and they will direct you to the cafeteria.
We will have snack time in the classroom in the morning. When selecting a snack for your child, please keep in mind that this is the nutrition that will keep them going throughout the morning. All snacks must be NUT free.
To help with communication between the classroom and the home, I will be sending home a calendar with a list of important information, via e-mail, every Friday. This will let you know about any upcoming events, what types of things the students are studying, and various other pieces of important information. I strongly encourage you to look for this in your inbox.
I am looking forward to working with both you and your child. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us by e-mail.
